Kundalini Yoga Theories
As many of you know, Sue is the Kundalini yoga teacher at the studio. Kundalini style is a Hatha yoga that has only emerged into the west only in the past 100 years or so. Kundalini uses movement instead of static poses matched to a rhythmic breathing meditation.
Kundalini yoga raises the energy (prana) up your spine to cleanse your chakras and give you light through your body, mind and spirit. The Kundala is the female serpent uncoiling up your spine; the yellow-white light rises up your susumna through your meridians to every fiber of your being. Energy flows. You are light. You are a vibrant being.
Kundalini yoga massages your organs, glands, and muscles to keep you healthy and to get rid of toxins in your system. Try it on Saturdays from 10:30 to 12.
