Healing Yoga    

 

Peaceful, slow yoga. Stretching and breathing to coax the body into feeling healthy, happy and satisfied. Most poses are on the floor with only a few standing asanas. All poses are designed to work on problem issues such as back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, and so on. In addition to the poses and breathing, visualization and realization of our prana, chi, or life force are included so students understand the role an individual plays in his or her own healing. Using this life force, one can energize and heal her own body. Everyone can enjoy healing yoga.

 

Yoga works your muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, plus the breathwork helps your lungs and pulmonary system. Twists massage your organs, digestive system and heart, many poses activate your glands and make them healthier. Yoga is an ancient healing process for any body and is well-known as a stress reducer as well as a calming, peaceful practice for anyone to enjoy.
